Farr 40 – Espresso Martini Too
The Farr 40 is a 40-foot one-design sailing vessel designed by Farr Yacht design in 1996 following after the Mumm 30.
The interior layout is clean and simple while still providing the basic elements for long distance work. A full private head forward, saloon with galley and centrally located navigation station aft make the boat ocean racing ready. The cabin is sized to give the boat a spacious feeling for those who would choose to do limited cruising and to provide a reasonable area for after race gatherings.
Construction is elaborate in foam core with glass-reinforced skins. Rudder has a carbon stock and shell. Internal mouldings combine with bulkheads and composite frames to provide a sturdy and serviceable interior.
