MOD 70
One of the fastest racing boats in the world, the Multi One Design (MOD) 70 Trimaran is a versatile high performance yacht. Designed by VPLP the MOD 70s are robust and fast.
VPLP took all the best bits of learnings from the Orma 60 class, tamed them down a little and came out with the MOD 70 which was simple and fast. With curved ‘C’ style daggerboards and canting rigs these boats are both faster and safer than their predecessors. With maximum speeds of up to 40 knots and full ocean racing capabilities, the MOD 70 is a force to be reckoned with. It is a great combination of speed, safety and reliability.
The MOD 70 offers premier racing without the need for a crew of 20. The MOD 70 is equally well suited to MOCRA racing around the cans, sprinting around a 600nm classic offshore course or breaking speed records across the Atlantic.

LV Yachting in collaboration with the owner can offer you the ability to charter this phenomenal yacht for an experience day off St Tropez to a regatta in the Mediterranean Maxi Multihull Challenge to a TransAtlantic race to the Caribbean.
