MG5 – Windrift
Windrift, an MG5 catamaran designed by renowned yachtsman Marc Guillemot in conjunction with the architectural firm Barreau Neuman combines racing heritage with eco-conscious innovation, making it a top choice for high-performance sailing. This 52-foot catamaran integrates high-quality components from racing yachts, including IMOCAs, and features unique engineering touches, like the nacelle mounted on silent blocks and a solar main sail that harnesses clean energy for propulsion. Guillemot’s expertise shines through in the use of recycled materials from racing boats, including an efficient Gori 3-blade propeller that boosts speed and manoeuvrability while conserving fuel.
