Class 40 – Rock’n’Roll
The Class40 is a ocean-oriented racing yacht which has been increasing in popularity in the past 15 years. Now regarded as one of the most exciting classes to be involved with, due to it high performance and the boats longevity of performance. Whilst the class progresses with new technologies and designs, class rules regulate the speed of growth to maintain a large competitive fleet and incur fewer redundancies due to increases in the price of construction.
The boat **Rock'nRoll** is a Class 40 ocean racing boat designed by Owen Clarke Design bureau for double-handed ocean race. In 2022/23, a complete refit of the boat was carried out, including the replacement of the keel, new rigging, installation of new water ballasts system, and many other works were done. The boat is equipped with a new set of carbon sails.
