Hamilton Island Race Week is one of Australia’s favourite yachting events and a well-established part of the international sailing calendar.
Each August, sailors from around the world come together with their families and friends for Australia’s largest regatta. The event is known for its lively atmosphere, competitive spirit and unique camaraderie of the event’s on-water and off-water carnival.
Set against the backdrop of the stunning Whitsunday Islands, participants and spectators get to enjoy not just thrilling races but also the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Glorious weather, azure waters, brilliant beaches, awe-inspiring coral reefs as well as fine food and wines and numerous onshore activities make this a regatta not to be missed!
