The Dehler 30 One Design is an uncompromising double-handed offshore boat designed for maximum performance with the highest possible level of comfort. This “little rocket” has been created to strike the optimum balance between speed and handling through the use of the latest design technology. General features include a carbon mast, bowspit, rod rigging, water ballast, twin rudders, composite aluminum-lead keel, Dehler carbon cage, and a Dehler stealth drive.

The deck layout is amazingly and exceptionally well thought out for double handed and full crew hardcore racing, incorporating the very best quality gear and fittings, positioned perfectly for user friendly continuous work. The standard carbon mast is state of the art from AXXON with one set of spreaders but interestingly incorporating D2s and rod rigging.

The interior allows eight people to sit and chat in the saloon and then fall asleep as there is a double berth for the crew in the forepeak and twin berths aft. In addition, the two benches in the saloon can be used as berths. In offshore racing condition the above described accommodation space give the crew the opportunity to rest and make all below deck necessary work, together with cooking, sail storage, etc.. Last, but not least, comes the amazing sail plan that incorporates a modern trend with only 6 sails all designed by Quantum, which can cover with good overlaps the full range of conditions for grand prix racing and at the same time provide unheard durability. More assets to point out are the retractable shaft and three blade fixed propeller system, that comes flush to the hull when not in use, incorporating a simple bulletproof manual mechanism, as well as the 200lt water ballast system, highly recommended for offshore shorthanded sailing! Combined with all these comes a full B&G instrument set including autopilot, chartplotter and AIS.
